Lemlist vs Woodpecker: the main difference
Both send cold email sequences from your own mailboxes, but they are built around different jobs. lemlist's pricing page presents a wider outbound platform: a lead database with email and phone finders, AI agents, and multichannel sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS. Woodpecker presents email-first campaigns, LinkedIn as a plan option and a dedicated Agency panel for client accounts.
Both vendors' pages were read on November 1, 2026. Amounts are left to the live pages.
Side by side: plans, billing units and cost
- Plans: lemlist lists Email, Multichannel and Enterprise. Woodpecker lists Email, Multichannel, LinkedIn and a custom Scale route.
- Billing unit: lemlist's Email plan has unlimited users and senders and is sized by monthly email volume, and its Multichannel plan is priced by user. Woodpecker sizes email plans by emails sent each month and adds a price for each connected LinkedIn account.
- Mailboxes: lemlist lists unlimited email senders on the Email plan and 5 senders per user on Multichannel. Woodpecker lists unlimited connected email accounts.
- Team seats: Woodpecker lists unlimited team members on its plans. lemlist lists unlimited users on Email, and its Multichannel plan is priced by user.
- Channels: lemlist lists email, LinkedIn, SMS, a built-in call dialer and a WhatsApp add-on. Woodpecker lists email and LinkedIn, plus manual call and task steps inside a sequence.
- Lead data: lemlist lists a lead database and sells credits for enrichment and buying signals. Woodpecker includes a starting allowance of Lead Finder credits and sells more.
- Branching: both list condition-based steps. lemlist's comparison table says conditioned next steps, and Woodpecker's help center describes click-based conditions with YES and NO paths.
- Trial: lemlist's FAQ describes a 14-day free trial of Multichannel features with 200 free credits. Woodpecker lists a 14-day trial, and its FAQ adds a cap of 500 cold emails.
Agency features: how each separates clients
This is where the two pages differ most. Woodpecker's pricing page lists an Agency Panel with a sub-account for each client, roles and permissions, view-only client access and bulk campaign actions, plus a White Label add-on, both billed for each active client.
lemlist's pricing text lists guest users, custom user roles and permissions and shared campaigns. The text read here does not describe a per-client panel, so an agency considering lemlist should ask how client data, mailboxes and billing are kept apart before signing. If you want that separation described on the pricing page itself, Woodpecker's page does it more directly.
What each vendor says about the other
Woodpecker publishes a page comparing itself with lemlist. It describes lemlist as priced for each seat, with some features sold separately. lemlist's current pricing page reads differently: unlimited users and senders on its Email plan, and per-user pricing on Multichannel.
Woodpecker's page may be older than lemlist's, so this guide treats it as Woodpecker's own position, not as a fact about lemlist. Read lemlist's live page for what its plans include today.
Who should pick which: fit by workflow
- Pick Woodpecker if you run outreach for several clients, want a panel that keeps each one apart and prefer team seats that do not add to the bill. The Woodpecker review covers its limits.
- Pick lemlist if your sequences mix email with calls, SMS, WhatsApp or LinkedIn voice steps, or if you want lead data and AI research inside the same account.
- Look wider if volume or cost per client leads your decision. The best cold email software guide covers Instantly, Smartlead, Mailshake, Reply.io, Saleshandy and Apollo.
